The lawyers from Roberts and Fong are back, with more exciting cases inspired by actual events involving casino exclusion orders, haunted HDB flats, and even a neighbourhood flasher. The story revolves around Wendy Lim (Rebecca Lim), a young and idealistic Malaysian who arrives in Singapore to begin her apprenticeship at a local law firm under the tutelage of Dennis Tang (Adrian Pang). She is, however, unprepared for the journey ahead of her; not only does she has to contend with the politics within the firm but in the course of performing her duties, uncovers a dangerous plot that may eventually threaten her own life…
