In season 1 of "Real Romance Love Letter", each two-episode event features a single female actress. Several male celebrities compete in various tasks to try to impress her, and she selects two with whom to have a "date". The remaining men are sent to the "Minor League" to endure amusing punishments from MC Kang Ho-dong. At the end of the show, the actress picks a single "Perfect Man" from among the contestants.
