Andrea Martin (born January 15, 1947) is an acclaimed American-Canadian actress, singer, and comedian whose career spans television, film, and Broadway. She is best known for her Emmy Award-winning performances on the influential sketch comedy show SCTV, where she became famous for her memorable characters and sharp celebrity impersonations. On Broadway, Martin has won two Tony Awards for her roles in "My Favorite Year" and the revival of "Pippin," and she holds the record for the most Tony nominations for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, with credits in acclaimed productions such as "Noises Off," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Young Frankenstein".
